One practice behind everything

The products, the advisory and the research come from the same hands and the same standards.

Pickel Fintech is run by Tom Pickel, CAIA: 12+ years analyzing alternative investments for institutional investors and 7+ years building in Python and data (FDP). The judgment to see what matters and the engineering to build it.

I take time to understand what a founder, investor or business owner is working on. Then I help where my experience fits, whether the topic is alternative investments, markets or data. Some of these conversations lead to projects. Others become lasting relationships, and I value those just as much. If you are working on something interesting, I would like to hear about it.

How a conversation starts

The starting point is usually a question you are still working through.

1

Say hello

Send a short note describing the question, the portfolio, the market issue or the product you want to use.

2

Clarify the problem

We define what would make the work useful and decide whether the right fit is product access, advisory or a smaller next step.

3

Deliver the answer

The result is concrete: product access, a report, a model, a data pipeline or a clear decision about what to do next.

Working through a portfolio, a market question or a data problem?

Send a short note. You will get a clear next step: product access, an advisory project or a focused recommendation.
